To begin, a talisman is an object that is believed to hold magickal charged energy. The word talisman comes from the Arabic word talsam (طلسم). It is also a late alteration of the Greek telesma (τέλεσμα), meaning,"completion, religious rite. "The word itself teleō (τελέω) means "I complete, perform a rite." (Source Wikipedia) Meaning that it is intended for ritual and magickal workings. Can be used as a tool to direct energy and way to help manifest your intent.

According to traditional magical schools, the practitioner should create the talisman. This is because it is essential the practitioner energy directly corresponds to their will. It also bonds the energy and makes it part of the practitioner.

If you are creating a talisman you must choose your symbols carefully. First, think of what is my goal for this object and meditate on that thought. Now think of elemental, alchemy, planetary, and sigils and do any of these symbols correspond to the intent of the object. If, so you can proceed with one of those symbols or even create your own sigil instead. When adding the symbol to the object it is important to enter a meditation state, because this will help you keep the focus on the intent of the object. You do not want to be sending mix messages.

Talisman can be made to help bond your relationship with demons as well. This is done by using the demons sigil or a sigil you created for the demon. Engraving this onto the object of your choice with the intent of an offering.
